Summary

AB02B Temperature Min: -55 °C Max: 210 °C
Speed Max: 5 m/sThe AB02B Wiper Seal is recommended for heavy duty applications where possible contaminants such as mud or ice may be present. The seal is designed with both pre-load and a sealing lip on the outside diameter. This external sealing lip helps prevent debris and moisture travelling behind the static diameter of the groove and entering the system. The AB02B is a good choice for applications where cylinders are working in a vertical position as moisture tends to gather in the wiper gland area in these circumstances.
AB02B is normally manufactured in hard grade PU materials for extra abrasion resistance and naturally has a heavy load to provide a positive scraping action which is normally required in heavy duty applications such as those mentioned above.

AB12 Temperature Min: -50 °C Max: 210 °C
Speed Max: 5 m/sAB12 is a premium flexible snap-fit Wiper Seal which is commonly referred to as ‘the mining wiper’ because it has been designed to work in heavy duty safety critical environments where system contamination is unacceptable.
The special snap in design provides pre-load over the outside diameter of the groove which ensures no rolling or movement while in operation and the extending flange protruding from the scraping lip covers the housing to help prevent debris and moisture from gathering or entering into the seal groove, this is especially useful for hydraulic cylinders operating vertically.
Hard PU grades are commonly used for their abrasion resistance and excellent scraping ability.

AB13 Temperature Min: -50 °C Max: 260 °C
Speed Max: 1 m/sAB13 is commonly used in tandem with other wiper seals to provide extra protection from external contamination or can be used on its own where groove space is restricted.
The AB13 is normally produced in either hard grade engineering plastics such as Nylon or hard grade PU materials.
On occasions the AB13 may have to be split to enable installation into the groove. The selection of a hard grade PU material can sometimes avoid this.

AB14 Temperature Min: -50 °C Max: 260 °C
Speed Max: 1 m/sThe AB14 is an excellent heavy-duty clip-fit scraper seal and is recommended when the scraping of abrasive particles from the shaft is required. The groove design for the AB14 is simple which means machining of the metal carrier is quick and most of all economical.
Installation of the AB14 is done by simply pressing the heel down into the retaining groove, the outer seal lip then simply folds over before simply clicking back into position, retaining the wiper in place while also preventing the ingress of any contamination into the system through the outside diameter of the gland.
Standard material is lubricated Nylon, but other high-performance materials are available if required.

AB29 Temperature Min: -50°C Max: 210°C
Speed Max: 5 m/sAB29 Profile is a further modification on the industry standard flexible snap-fit wiper seal.
The seal is produced with interference across the outside diameter providing the snap-fit to keep it stable in the groove while the piston rod is reciprocating. The extra sealing edge toward the outside diameter provides security against foreign particles making their way behind the seal while providing excellent moisture protection.
The seal is manufactured with a stabilizing heel that sits against the shaft and prevents seal movement and tilting when under side-load. This heel is also slotted to prevent pressure build-up in between the rod seal.
Standard material is PU although it can easily be manufactured in a high-performance elastomer if the application requires.
