Food industri seals
  • Food and Beverage

M Seals designs and manufactures a range of advanced seals for demanding food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and bioprocessing environments.

    Quality and compliance

We understand that your processing environment faces some of the most stringent requirements imposed by Food Contact Regulations and International Standards. M Seals makes it easier for you to meet these requirements, by providing a wide variety of approved seals, with guaranteed compliance to the most stringent standards.

Our seals are successfully used in a range of applications within the food sector, including bottling plants, breweries, food processing, and other production machinery.

The right seal for the job

Traditional sealing materials do not meet the increasing demand for compliance with food standards organisations. M Seals has developed a full range of high-performance, high-conformance food grade seals, and seals that comply with many industry regulations. This includes O-rings, PTFE seals and sanitary seals that are suitable for the application conditions, i.e., friction, chemical resistance, and temperature.

PTFE seals are flexible, chemically resistant, electrically resistant and non-stick, making them a superior choice of material for this industry. Sanitary seals are another ideal choice, providing a barrier between different parts of the equipment, ensuring that the product being processed remains uncontaminated and safe for consumption.

Seals for a Cocoa Bean Milling Machine

We were asked to assist in the re-sealing of the millwheel’s centre-post. Previous polyurethane seals were inadequate for the job, not suited to the high temperatures, too hard, not flexible enough and the wrong size. Consequently, the seals were not lasting very long and causing damage to the metal sleeve.
